Trotters Pointe is a family-friendly neighborhood located at the corner of 11 Mile Rd. and Pontiac Trail in the city of South Lyon. The city is located in the southwest corner of Michigan's Oakland County. We are located just five minutes south of I-96. The area has grown significantly in the past decade, but still retains much of its rural charm. Several horse farms still operate close to Trotters Pointe.

There are numerous recreational opportunities in and around Trotters Pointe. Our neighborhood has expansive common areas, including a walking path that winds through a park in the central section of the subdivision. The park has a tennis court, playscape and swings, and several docks overlooking the ponds. The park entrances are from Equestrian Dr. and Shetland Dr. Additionally, the wetland area between the homes on Equestrian Dr. and Gallop Ln. and 11 Mile and Pontiac Trail is owned by the Trotters Pointe Homeowners Association.

Two of southeast Michigan's premiere recreational areas--Island Lake and Kensington Metropark--are located just minutes from Trotters Pointe. See the Links section for more information.
